DON’T PRACTICE UNTIL YOU GET IT RIGHT. PRACTICE UNTIL YOU CAN’T GET IT WRONG.

The sport of competitive cheerleading takes a two minute thirty second routine set to music to a level of competition that compares to none. The routine includes choreographed stunts, jumps and tumbling appropriate to respective age groups and skill levels and is judged by industry experts. Winners in each division enjoy trophies, jackets, rings and most prestigious bragging rights. At LOA, there is a program for every athlete based on age, skill set, time commitment and budget.

Full Year Teams:

Full Year All-Star Teams practice year-round with team tryouts held in May of each year. Private tryouts are available for late entries provided spots are available. Athletes participate in two team practices and one tumbling class per week for a combined six hours per week training. They are also offered stunt classes and open gym participation at a discount for additional skill building opportunities.

LOA’s full year all-star budget includes a competition uniform, bow, shoes, makeup, music, choreography, competition entry and coaches’ fees. Athletes are encouraged to purchase a team warm up and backpack for a uniform look at competitions. LOA’s full year teams compete in six (6) to eight (8) competitions annually, two gym wide exhibitions, and aim for a season capping bid to the D2 Summit and/or Allstar Worlds. The D2 Summit is one of the nation’s most prestigious cheerleading competitions where the best of the best compete for national recognition and ultimate bragging rights.

Half Year Teams:

Half Year All-Star Prep Teams offer all the fun of full year cheer at half the time commitment and cost. Tryouts are held in October of each year with team practices starting in November. School cheerleaders often participate in half year, just after the football season is over. Athletes participate in two team practices and one tumbling class per week for a combined five hours per week training. They are also offered stunt classes and open gym participation at a discount for additional skill building opportunities. LOA’s half year all-star budget includes a competition uniform, bow, makeup, music, choreography, competition entry and coaches’ fees. Athletes are encouraged to purchase a team warm up and backpack for a uniform look at competitions. LOA’s half year teams compete in three (3) to four (4) competitions annually and one gym wide exhibition.

All-Star Rec Camps

All-Star Rec Camps are new to Legion of All-Stars and will begin forming Summer of 2018. All-star rec cheer camps are twelve (12) week sessions designed for all age groups as an introduction into all-star cheer. Every athlete who participates in evaluations makes a team and will showcase skills in one local competition. The all-inclusive monthly tuition includes one team practice and one tumbling class per week for a combined two hours per week training. Additionally, the monthly tuition includes a competition uniform, bow, music, choreography and competition entry fee.

Cheerleaders in Training classes are offered year-round to non-competitive athletes interested in learning cheer technique, those preparing for local school cheer or athletes preparing for the upcoming season’s all-star team tryouts. LOA’s cadets participate in one cheer technique training and one tumbling class per week for a combined two hours per week training. Cheer technique focuses on stunt, jumps, formations and dance.
